Silence

If you have been following me for a while you know of the insane noise that my neighbors have been making. It has been going on for weeks. Loud trucks, honking, and yelling all through the night.

I am not usually an irritable person, however, when there is a lack of sleep, for such a prolonged period of time it tends to affect a person… And usually not in a good way.

And you must understand- we are not talking about normal yelling; it is literally screaming at the top of their lungs. And we certainly are not talking about normal honking… oh no. This sounds like a train whistle- and when parked right outside your window, in the middle of the night while you are sleeping peacefully… it can be a rude awakening. Literally.

Many a drill sergeant would be proud of me and my fast movements. A cardiologist, however, would think I had a heart attack.

Well after plenty of chats with my landlord- who really has been helpful- last night was blissfully quiet. And tonight looks like more of the same…

Oh the happiness! Oh the joy!

Who would have thought that a Friday night could hold such perfect silence. So, I must go and make the most of the quiet time I have been given.

Doesn’t this bed look amazing? How peaceful! And the books under the bed just add to the perfection!

Wishing you a quiet and peaceful night,
