This quilt was made for a friend of mine. It is your basic block style quilt, 7 rows across, 10 down. It is extremely easy to make the template is here http://www.cluckclucksew.com/2009/01/orange-quilt-dimensions.html. I believe that mine ended up being a little bigger.
The back had to be extended both in width and length, so I choose to double the main fabric for the width. But in an effort to add something different to it I expanded the length with a row of blocks from the front. I think it adds a nice touch.
